So we decided that every week we will focus on one of the countries we will be crossing on our quest to misery. We will do this by posting a blog about the country and eating some local cuisine to prepare ourselves for this ghastly journey. 

And today we begin in Holland, where we will depart on the 23rd of July 2016 in Eastern Holland, from the beautiful city of Nijmegen.  

We drove around the cities' countryside and decided to feast on pancakes in the forest to launch this crazy plan. During this dinner we concluded that we will not be spending much time in Holland. As a matter of fact, we want to get out of Holland asap! So there is not much more we want to say. Our focus lies elsewhere. 

After Holland, it's straight on to Germany... to be continued.
